You've gotta wonder. If it had come out here, would Nintendo have given it any special treatment? Earthbound was a risk in the first place and they put a lot of effort into it. Just goes to show we're not dealing with the same Nintendo anymore.

I...I want that handbook... anyone know if they'll always sell it, and that the preorder incentive is just to get the Franklin Badge keychain?

I've been playing this a bit and I have to ask, what's up with the rhythm combo thing? I can't figure it out at all.

Basicly if you hit the A button to the heartbeat of an enemy(ies) (the battle's song is a clue to it), you get extra hits. You can hear it if you make an enemy fall asleep, and they say theres items that help you out as well.

I find it really hard to find the rythm too, but I think it's designed to be hard. There were only a few songs where I could actually manage large combos.

It must be the emulator then. I've heard the sound goes a little out of sync, especially during large boss fights.

I can usually get 11-16 (max) combos really easily on the micro.
