The Nintendo Gamecube is 10 years young today, and in celebration, we've added a little music player to Fourside. If you've been a fan of the GC, you'll understand why it's playing what it's playing.

So who else will be dusting off their cube tonight for a little bit of gaming nostalgia?

Actually yesterday, but still... Happy 10 years Gamecube!

I just played some SSBM with my brother earlier today.

I still prefer that one to Brawl, not sure why. I played the heck out of it trying to collect every single thing (and failed), but hardly got anything in Brawl aside from unlocking all the character.

I picked up playing Baten Kaitos again, and for some reason, the game just makes way more sense this time around. Though the battles take too long, and the character models are a little strange looking, the game is actually really good, with a strange storyline, lots of twists and a satisfying battle system (once you get your head around it). Kind of looking forward to finishing it and trying out the sequel.

Also, if you haven't listened to the AC music player yet in December, you should give it a try :)

Hah I forgot you added the Christmas music. Man this really makes me want to play a bit when I get home. Maybe kick back and tear up all the weeds.

I was thinking of picking it up again, but realized that my DS town is gone now (I let someone overwrite it) and the 3DS one will be out soon... so I'll probably just wait.

I could never let someone overwrite my town! I went in and took out some weeds, but there's no snow or Christmas music yet for some reason.

I sort of regret it. In retrospect I should have backed it up so I could at least reload it on a flashcart or something.
