Okay, now this is the most ridiculous thing I've heard the music industry do yet. I'm pretty much one step away from never spending another penny on these crooks.
Aparently, not happy with keeping people from downloading music, they now want to prevent people from downloading lyrics and tabs, as they'd obviously prefer people to purchase the songbooks instead. I don't understand what the crime is here... one more advanced musicician figuring out how to play the song as closely as possible and sharing it with other less experienced musicians, and using the internet as a medium to do this. Let the people who want the accurate and exact songbooks buy them if they want them.
And as far as lyrics go... what the hell? Credit is given in the fact that the lyrics are associated with the original artist.

Anyone hear what Quebec is doing to Sony? After receiving cds with copy-protection software that "breaks" a users computer, the province is hitting Sony with a class-action lawsuit to cover the cost of cd, computer repairs, and infringing on Canadian law (we are allowed to copy cds for personal use) to an amount of $1,250 per signee. I'll bet people in Quebec are really buying up Sony cds now so they can be a part of the lawsuit.

I think Texas is suing 10k per signee, I bet those CDs are on sale on ebay for a hefty price now :P

Hey, new news going around that this (sorry, no direct link) may be the last secret behind the Nintendo revolution. Sounds pretty exciting, and I'm sure will definitely give the revolution the edge if it's true.
