Yeah definitely can't wait to see it. The plot seems to start out like the first, but has the lead of the third, I think... And I saw Pilon head so that means they've got bits from the first three games at least. From the second half of the trailer it's easy to see they got the environments perfectly, although I'm concerned about the brightness. Silent Hill's atmosphere comes a lot from the grainy effect on the camera, the very dark areas, and the characters (even the main ones) that look like they just rose from the dead.

Yeah, ok, that is looking pretty good. As long as it doesn't turn into Resident Evil at one point or another, it pretty much has the "Best Videogame movie" wrapped up. Since I imagine there's no way it can become completely as twisted as the games, it'll probably be as close as it can be.

Hm, that's interesting. They're translating and rewriting the Japanese PS1 ROM. Seems like a lot of effort, but I guess they want to play the game in english with the superior FM chip sound, and have a decent legible script with none of the Americanized changes. Hmm, sounds good, but it hasn't been worked on in several months it seems :(

I guess the last update was late November, but it sounds like the script is translated, they're just inserting (which could take quite a while). I'd probably play it when it's done.

If it comes out in playable form, I'll certainly get it. Been a long time since I played the first Phantasy Star, would be interesting to see the "true" version.
